ABOUT THE ALIGN CONFERENCE

This two-day learning event, held on February 5 & 6, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta, is designed for designed for employees in the human services sector. It includes presentations tailored for senior leaders, board members, supervisors, and front-line workers. Approximately 250 people attend the conference each year.
 
This conference's ongoing success relies on knowledgeable presenters who are passionate about their areas of expertise. If you have a topic that would benefit our participants, please complete our online application.

The ALIGN Conference Committee will review all submissions. Accepted presenters will be notified in late August/September 2025. 

The deadline for applications is July 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST).

A FEW QUICK DETAILS BEFORE APPLYING

It will be held over two days: Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, 2026.
At the Fantasyland Hotel in West Edmonton Mall.
On average, we host 18 Breakout Sessions. 12 on Day 1 and 6 on Day 2.
The deadline for applications is Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST).
- The Basics - Tell us about yourself and your agency/organization.
- Contact Information - Who will receive our communications from now until the Conference? Primary Presenter, Primary Contact or both?
- Presentation 1 (90 min) - All information required (including any allergies).
- Presentation 2 (90 min) - All information required (including allergies) OR N/A.
- Presentation 3 (90 min) - All information required (including allergies) OR N/A.
- Participation Agreement - You understand this is a volunteer position. You will receive a ticket to the Conference for your presentation day, meals and access to 250+ attendees from your sector.
- The presenters acknowledge that their role is volunteer-based and does not include financial compensation.
- They are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and expenses, but they can share their skills with the sector.
- A maximum of two presenters from each session are eligible to attend the conference free of charge on the presentation day. 
- Any additional presenters must register (purchase a ticket).
- All presenters who would like to attend on a non-presentation day must register (purchase a ticket).
